Crazy day today. I'll break it up into acts to make it easy. :P
Exposition:
Jennie and I went to the mall so I could buy a cd so I can meet The Academy Is and The Cab and go to their private concert on their Hello My Name Is tour. WOO! I am very pumped. I love rock shows. Although I tend to get carried away... This one time, the Dropkick Murphys came to my school and performed, and when I left, I said I'd stay behind in the stands in the gym because I didn't feel well. Well.... I ended up in the mosh pit. Absolute front and center. I ended up coming back soaking wet (the school turned hoses on us because it was so hot in there) , half-deaf and smelling like rowdy college boys. Ew. But if there's one talent I have, besides talking one hellofalot, it's navigating crowds, especially concert crowds. But I digress.
Rising Action:
After that, we stopped in the Apple Store so I could film my vlog for TwoWeeksofAwesome. I've never vlogged that way so it was pretty cool. And I think I've only vlogged once in public but that kind of stuff doesn't really bother me. I kind of radiate kookiness like kryptonite so at this point, I just embrace it. I kid of course. I'm not that bad. I promise.

Climax:
So later on, we were walking around the top floor (there are 5 levels) and as we walked by Newbury Comics (LOVE that store), something in the window caught my eye and I did a double-take. It was a life-size cardboard cutout of David Tennant as Doctor Who. (Okay, I realize that this is the 3rd time I mentioned him in this blog. I apologize. But I won't apologize for the shmexy. :P) Jennie and I couldn't believe it. So, of course, we ran inside, propped him up, and took silly photos with him. Couldn't resist. And then, Jennie suggested I buy him for our dorm room. After waffling for what seemed like forever, I gave in and bought him. It was a halfhearted battle anyway. And yes, I recognize that in yesterday's post I mentioned feeling bad for frivolous spending. (>.<)
Falling Action:
Then, we went to see "The Day the Earth Stood Still" in the IMAX theater upstairs (ok maybe there are 6 levels). Wow, I am on one crazy movie streak. Anyway, I think any movie in IMAX is instantly awesome (Can't wait to see "
Half Blood Prince"!). It was decent. Well, for a movie that lacked a coherent plot. I like Keanu Reeves, despite his repeat performances as the same guy in every role he takes. Jayden Smith was excellent; I'm sure he made dad proud. He is so cute too, he looks like a mini Corbin Bleu with that mop of hair... And Weta Digital did a majority of the effects. I love Weta. :)Pain in the ass realization that there won't be a resolution just yet:
So we were ready to go when I discovered that my cell phone was missing. We went back to the theater and they let me in to look, but another showing had started and it was sooo dark. And I'm pretty sure this one couple was sitting in the same seats we were. I was on my hands and knees looking and I ended up coming out empty handed and sticky legged (I'd bet my life that it was orange soda). They couldn't send an usher in to look until the movie ended so we had to either leave a number and go or wait the two extra hours.
Resolution:
The parentals wanted me to wait so we hung out in Borders and chilled. I started Watchmen. Finally we got to go back into the theater and my phone was pulled out of the clutches of oblivion. Satisfied, with my cell in hand, my concert ticket in my wallet, and David Tennant in my heart, I FINALLY got to leave that stupid mall.
Too bad I'm going back on Tuesday. :P

You might be one of my favorite people ever. I want to go up north and have an epic adventure with you and buy Doctor Who merchandise. :] <3
No fair! You're one of MY favorite people! :D
And yes, you should totally come up. Epic adventures are win! David can come with us. We can prop him up in the backseat... he will wear a seatbelt of course. Safety first.
