Jan18th: Forgiveness

Disclaimer: This is going to be a very angry yet vague rant, so skip it if it pleases you.

Ugh.

This has been one of those days that I wish I could flip off as they pass me by.

It's ironic that today's events happened so close to Martin Luther King day. Is this what he would have wanted?



I am ashamed that there are so many people out there who are so intolerant of others. Of people's race, culture, religion, sexual orientation, political beliefs, martial status, etc, etc, etc.

I'm ashamed to be bashed for thinking beyond what I was taught, for thinking for myself, for believing to live and let live and to do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

But I can forgive.
And I can hope.
Hope that someday people will practice what they preach and do the right thing.
